Assistant Planning Manager

Group (Beaconsfield)

Shanly Homes - the privately-owned, award winning regional housebuilder - is looking for an Assistant Planning Manager to join our small but busy planning team in our Beaconsfield office.


About the role

Reporting to the Group Planning Director and Senior Planning Manager you will:

  • assist with the preparation and submission of a variety of planning applications and appeals, negotiating successful outcomes
  • maintain planning trackers including applications, s106 and CIL liabilities
  • manage consultant budgets and associated invoices
  • build good working relationships with internal teams, external consultants and LPAs
  • undertake site appraisals to assess development potential.


Skills and experience

  • proven experience within a residential house builder and/or planning consultancy
  • a relevant planning related degree or equivalent experience
  • strong MS Excel skills
  • high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • personable and able to build strong working relationships
  • clear and concise communication skills .
