The heart and soul of Maidenhead, in Berkshire, is the River Thames, which runs north to south just to the east of the town centre. The town is also on the Crossrail Elizabeth line which provides direct trains into the heart of the City. There is also a direct service to hub station, Reading, which connects to the west country and beyond. Access to the M4 and the M40 couldn't be simpler and local towns include High Wycombe, Slough, Marlow and Windsor, all within or around a 10 mile journey.
