The popular and modern Lexicon Shopping Centre in nearby Bracknell, has both designer and high street brands, lots of dining options, a cinema and gym. There are schools, nurseries, and play areas within a 30-minute walk of Ascot Oaks. For shopping and leisure further afield, it is only 15 minutes to Windsor or 20 minutes to Reading by car.

Martins Heron Station is a 14-minute walk and from here there are convenient, direct and frequent links to London Waterloo in just under an hour on South Western Railway.
